A very tiny visual novel to celebrate Kate's autumn release. 2 endings, ~900 words filled with light horror vibes (~5 minutes of reading), and some pencil-lined and marker-painted creepy-cozy art :>

Note that the keyboard and gamepad controls are the ones used by Kate, rather than regular Ren'Py ones. By default, Z selects things, X cancel things, Left Shift opens the menu, A is rollback, and S is skip.

Platform support

The game runs on a Kate Paper Lantern device with OS v0.23.10 or higher. You'll need at least a 1.8GHz processor, 2GB RAM, and a graphics card supporting OpenGL ES 3.1 (i.e.: released after 2012, updated drivers). Most modern machines and browsers will run the emulator.

Note for iOS/MacOS: the emulator does not fully support Safari/iOS. You might also need to tap the screen once to enable sound and better performance.
